I honestly don't remember if I have posted here before, because I have been all around ivillage sampling boards here and there. But I'm ready to settle down! (:
My daughter, Anika, is 14 months old. She is so energetic and full of personality. She is currently into throwing tantrums, where she arches her back and cries. She does this at home, at the store- you name it. I try hard to not get embarassed when this happens- but you know. She is SO loud! She walks well, and says a few words "woof woof", and "wow" and maybe mom and dad, though we still don't know if she is calling us or just the sounds.

Me- I'm a stay at home mom. I am trying to find a hobby I really enjoy- I'm not too into scrapbooking, though I have come a long way in that regard. I am going to attempt stamping sometime. I like to exercise and do aerobics. And I love my Diet Dr. Pepper and chocolate.

If anyone else would like to share things about themselves with me I would enjoy hearing about you and your one year old!

I wish more lurkers on this board would step forward and introduce themselves. I am a working/stay at home mom of 2 beautiful children....a son who is 6 and a daughter who is 3. We move around alot because dh is military, but I am an adoption counselor and I work with birthmothers that are thinking of placing their children for adoption! I love to talk to others and get to know them better through the internet world! I hope more people on this board start talking and getting involved it would be a great support system for all of our first year moms!
