Things to do with your baby in the first year!

Well Hello,

I just completed my first year with my son! He is absolutely a doll if I might say so myselg Although when babies are so little and don't "play" like older children! There are still many things you can play and many things you can do to interact with them! Singing songs, along with singing the alphabet is a good thing!
What other suggestions can we share with each other, to help get us through that first year with many "playful memories"?

Tami

Another Idea!

Hi Tami,

Another idea is to use brightly colored pictures and state the colors on them. I also use big flash card type images of dogs, cats in black and white so that my daughter concentrates on the picture not the color and I state each one. She really enjoys looking at the flash cards...I always get legs kicking and smiles flowing!

I would love some new ideas if anyone else would like to share too!

Thanks

Christine

yet another idea

Hello,

My son always like to go for long walks in the park and we would tell him what everything was from a "green tree" to a "blue bird". Now that he is older he is very descriptive when he talks! He always wanted to see if it could find something before mom and dad!
