Sleep problems, Please help!
Our 3 1/2 month old daughter keeps waking up every 2-3 hours and wants to eat at night. She had been sleeping through the night before we traveled for the holidays, now I think she is teething and maybe going through a growth spurt? We do have a bedtime routine and give her cereal in her bottle before bedtime. We used to just put her pacifier back in her mouth when she woke up during the night, now that does not help. She will scream until we give her a bottle. Any adivce would be greatly appreciated. I am exhausted!!!! Thanks in advance.

Could you change the time of her last bottle if you give it slightly before she goes to bed? They do go thru changes periodically and sometimes you just have to go with the flow. Sorry I don't have any great insight just lots of (((hugs))).

It sounds like a growth spurt!
I remember the holidays (and travel) threw MAM for a loop when she was an infant...so getting back into the swing of things in January was tough.
The only things I can think of would be to a) maybe up the oz. you are feeding her during the day b) when she wakes up to eat, just feed her and put her back to sleep (so that it's not terribly interesting) c) keep trying the paci first I hope this is short lived, for your sake! Good Luck! |

If the holiday travelling was recent, sometimes it takes a couple weeks to get back into the routine.
I wouldn't be surprised if it is a growth spurt! It seemed with our K during a growth spurt, they don't last too long, so hopefully the wakeful nights will be short lived! That was a good suggestion to see how much milk she gets during the day, maybe she needs more.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. We have had 2 full nights of sleep again. I think she must have been going through a growth spurt.
