church camp, every summer, wins. 2. The best summertime treat is... uhm, fudgecicles. 3. This summer, we plan to.... change the office into a nursery and form a new office, visit with family, hit up church camp, play in my flower garden and go to some baseball games! 4. Name a fun summer activity to do with kids. Water. Anything with water. 5. I love summer because... Uhm, only because of water, flowers and camp. I hate, hate, HATE the heat. It makes me GRUMPY!

Kansas City for shopping on the Plaza and Worlds of Fun 2. The best summertime treat is... Gin and tonic with extra lime 3. This summer, we plan to....Apparently go to some vacation destination that my in laws want to surprise us with. 4. Name a fun summer activity to do with kids. I'm w/ Jenna here---anything w/ water. Also, blowing bubbles in the backyard around twilight when the fireflies are coming out. 5. I love summer because...I don't have to leave in the dark and come home in the dark.

1. My favorite childhood summer trip was to...
Colorado... Sand Dunes (where we spent a week and NO showers), then camping in the mountains and time with friends in Colorado Springs 2. The best summertime treat is... Cherry Limeaid from Sonic... none here so I have to make my own. That and anything BBQ'd!!!! 3. This summer, we plan to.... Work on renos on our house which means we move out to our Camper. Camp for 10 days first part of August. Lots of time in parks playing. And walking. And fixing up our backyard. And gardening. 4. Name a fun summer activity to do with kids. We go camping, which is wonderful since you get outside the whole time and there are lots of places to walk. 5. I love summer because... It's not winter. And the sun is up 20-22 hours a day at its peak. And we're not stuck in the house. And you don't have to put on snowsuits. And I could go on and on. Oh, and I finally get warm for once, lol!

Niagra Falls / Hershey, Pennsylvania. My parents did not have much money so we always drove on vacations (and only went every few years). This time we drove to Niagra Falls then stopped in PN on the way home. It was a great trip! 2. The best summertime treat is... Smores!! 3. This summer, we plan to.... Do nothing... Try and swim as often as we can, but no major plans. 4. Name a fun summer activity to do with kids. Swim!! 5. I love summer because... I don't. It is actually my least favorite season. I hate heat...

Summer!
1. My favorite childhood summer trip was to...
It is a toss up. I really liked driving to California, driving up and down to see places and people, we also drove there and back from Texas, so also saw other places along the way. 2. The best summertime treat is... blueberry frappe--my SIL pick blueberries in June, then I freeze mine so I can blend frappes! 3. This summer, we plan to.... Nothing yet. I'd like to know when the time comes when I actually think further ahead than today. (How does one baby keep a person so busy?) 4. Name a fun summer activity to do with kids. Riding in a wagon! 5. I love summer because... It is warm and hot! I don't like being cold. My husband will never understand why I sleep under a blanket when we keep the house set at 80 degrees. Marci, we drove everywhere too, also every few years. Sometimes car driving for a 2 week vacation is hard, but worth it once in a while--I saw SO MUCH on the car rides I never would have seen if we'd flown instead. I also remember Hershey Penn.! I bought chocolate licorice for a souvenier and would not recommend it.

I want to play, too!
1. My favorite childhood summer trip was to...
go to my Grammie's house for a week or two - we'd pick blueberries, go to church functions that had cake walks, and paint with homemade finger paints and play office. 2. The best summertime treat is... lemon shake ups from the fair! 3. This summer, we plan to....Swim more w/ the babe at my hometown water park/public pool (the kids like it better than the "boring ol' country club". Go to the zoo. Hike in the woods. Go to horse shows (gee, what else is new?) Lie on a picnic table or on the grass and look at the stars and lightning bugs. 4. Name a fun summer activity to do with kids. Camp! Backyard overnights are just as much fun as camping at a campground! (And MUCH easier!) 5. I love summer because... I can sleep with the windows open, and wear very few clothes!

Oh, I forgot out about trip to Hersey!!! We stopped on our way back from a West Point graduation for one of my cousins....
And one year we did a houseboat trip - all 6 of us for a week on a boat! Fun! (Probably not for my parents.....)
