hand me downs
Is there a protocol for hand me downs? Recently an acquaintance gave us a ton - I am talking enough stuff for 5 families - of girl clothes ranging in sizes from 3 months up to 24 months. They have 2 girls and are done so she told me to keep it or give it away whatever I felt best. I am definitely going to share because there is just too much for one child. I feel like I should do something for her in return. Any ideas?

Hand-Me-Downs are Wonderful..
Use what you can,,and then after you are finished find someone to pass them down to as well. I received tons of Hand-Me-Downs from neighbors, friends, Family,, In return, I made them each small Wicker-Woven Basket's I bought from our Local Craft Store,, I put Laundry soap, and fabric softner, and a couple of small childrens books inside each and wrapped them in celephan paper..With a Thank you note!!

Don't you love handy me downs? At this age nothing is really destroyed because they grow to fast. If you feel that you want to give her something why not a gift card to Starbucks or something like that? Or maybe send her a small bouquet of flowers.
We could always use something bright in the winter time.
