Halloween Costumes

This will be the First Halloween for all the babies here at this First year forum and thought I start a thread about costumes! Have you bought one for your little one? Old Navy has a lot of them and they are on sale now.. Here is the one I bought for Sophie..

I have decided that Cameron is too little. (Well that and I cannot find a costume that I like.) If we take him trick or treating, we would drive around to friends, so that knocks out all bunting costumes (due to the car seat). I just cannot find anything unique. So, I found a cute Halloween sleeper at a resale shop that he will wear while we stay home and answer the door for trick or treaters.

Nick will be a lion.

PS - Don't buy the costumes at The Gap. They are the same ones from Old Navy... for a higher price.

How fun! Halloween is one of my favorite times of year.
Our baby is also very young. But, one of my husband's coworkers gave him a little white shirt with the Batman logo on it for our daughter--I said that would be her costume!

I don't think we'll dress Cody up since he'll only be 9 months old, but there are some super cute costumes in the One Step Ahead catalog, and they really weren't all that expensive.

H is going to be a pumpkin---I'm just borrowing a hand me down PB KIDS costume from a friend this year, but DH has found a great website w/ some adorable costumes for next year. We'll take H to a couple of neighbors, but then I think we'll stay home and answer the door. We usually have about 300 trick or treaters---it's crazy!

Don't you just love Old Navy's costumes? They are so cute and considering the sale going on now, I couldn't pass up the chicken costume for our little one. Loren is not old enough to trick or treat, but I think we will take her around to our immediate family members homes. Any candy will be a plus for DH!

Good to know about Gap costumes being the same as Old Navy's. I almost purchased one because frankly, I am in love with BabyGap.

I got Woobie a little halloween themed jumper at Babys R Us and some little punkin shoes and a punkin bib. He'll be festive, but the babysitter won't have to deal with diaper changes and a costume. I can't wait to get pics taken with him in it.

MUAHAHAHA. Nick's costume came in the mail the other day. I tried the lion "hat" on to see if it fit properly.

HAHAHAHA. I LOVE being a parent.

We just had Allison's 6 month pictures taken today and brought her Halloween costume along to do a few pictures with her in it. She's a princess!

Awww - Nick is the cutest cub!

And Allison is GORGEOUS! Wow - WHAT AN OUTFIT! That is beautiful!

Baby A just got a pair of SUperman PJs, complete w/ cape, for his bday this weekend. So, he'll either suit up as a Colts football player or will be Superman, if the PJs aren't too big.

My six year old has decided to run with the neighborhood trend this year, and has asked me to make him a costume unavailable in stores. Like I don't have enough on my plate but, hey, it's the least I can do for him (and alot cheaper than buying)!

He wants to be Luke Skywalker. Not just any Luke Skywalker, though. Luke in the outfit he wears on Endor. The main motivation here is that he wants a camoflage poncho for future Star Wars and army games.

Since I'd like to have the little guy "match" his older brother's theme, E is going to be an Ewok! Since he's a roly-poly, round-faced, teddy bear type, I think it's very appropriate.

I'll post a pic when I get them sewed.
