What Toys are Your First Year's Favorite?

What does your child love? (Or for those whose children are over a year now, what was their favorite?)

For us, we can't live without his mirror, his exersaucer, his playmat, his mobile in his crib, or his Taggie blanket and book.

We have a Fisher-Price yellow plastic square bucket w/ blue shape-shorter lid and colored shape blocs.

He also loves banging on a little yellow piano w/ 4 keys (red/blue/green/orange) - hand me down

A round stuffed duck that quacks 3 songs

A stuffed Pink Pig that moves it's feet and says the "this little piggy" song/poem

These are the favorites, at the moment.

Trinity is 8 months old now and likes her Fisher Price drop and roar dinosaur. She also likes her "baby's first purse" -- I think this is also made by fisher price. Now that she's starting to walk she likes her little push and ride thing. Most of all though, she likes cardboard boxes and anything with a tag she can chew on.

When my son was this age he loved those handle trucks by little tikes. He used to crawl all over the house pushing those. Another big hit with him was the peeka-blocks. Now that he's 3, he still plays with those.
