The judge in Queenie's case decided that it was best for her to be returned to her home county. She was placed, along with her very emotionally disturbed older sibs, as legal risk. The big kids needed far more than a regular home could supply and were sent to appropriate places to get help. Queenie missed them, but did so much better without them. After 3 wonderful months, she left. I know she is now with a relative in the southern part of our state.

I expected to be absolutely helpless. I've surprised myself--I'm actually doing pretty well, so far. Of course, if I keep thinking about it, I'll go back down that sad, sad road.

I miss my little girl.
