Joshua is ours!!!
I am so excited! Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of the finalization of Josh's adoption. I talked to my lawyer today and was informed that the adoption is "officially" final and that I had nothing to worry about anymore because no one can take him away. I just wanted to share this exciting news with everyone as I have been a basket case about this. I still pray for those who are in the middle of struggling to keep their children. It is a horrible, awful feeling and I would never wish it upon anyone!
I am finally feeling relief and joy and I can't wait to get off work and go pick up my baby!

that's TERRIFIC NEWS!!!!!!!! So, so happy for you. It's such a relief to know you are on the other side. And for others who are waiting, we are praying. Stay strong.

I remember that feeling... After a struggle and comedy of legal errors with our son, we were so relieved and joyous when it was done! Words can't express the feeling - just like words can't really express the feelings you have when it's not final yet. Congratulations! So glad your totally through it! Yahoo!!!

How wonderful, Jaefer! Congratulations!! I remember you posting about finalizing "with conditions"-- how crazy is that? Doesn't it seem like there's some evil puppetmaster out there just laughing and seeing how much we can take?

Party!
Today is the official "Special Day". This is what we tell the kids when it is the anniversary of their adoption finalization. We celebrate it like a birthday. This one is extra special though as it has been such a LONG year! I am just so happy - I can't stop smiling!
