Just In Time!
The adoption of my grandson was finally finalized today!
After three scheduled court dates, we finally made it with all the correct paperwork. (Bmom was arrested again yesterday and bdad is still in rehab so neither one showed or sent an objection.) As we were leaving the judge's clerk remarked that we were lucky to get in. This judge is retiring in two more days and any incomplete adoptions will have to start over with a new judge! It is going to be a Merry Christmas!
