Being Registered
I just found out today that our dossier arrived in Ethiopia the end of last week and is being registered this week.
 I'm so happy and excited to finally be to this point.

What eactly does that mean to be registered? and what step is next for you, sorry for all the questions. we are in the beginning of this journey. Thanks.

As I understand it, being registered means that our dossier is being submitted to MOWA so we can be officially added to the list of waiting families. From there our dossier will go to the orphanage representatives and once we reach the top of the list, we will be matched with a child and receive our referral. Registration is a pretty big step in the process.

WE went on our agencies wait list as soon as they received our dossier. Everything was then sent to the embassy in DC and then on to Ethiopia..no idea at what point we were registered..guess different agencies have differnt policies
