Hello- New here.
Hi To Everyone,
I came across this board a week or so ago and have been soaking up the info ever since! My husband and I are in the VERY preliminary stages of adoption- I am still looking into agencies. (We are thinking of using Dove, please PM me if you have any experience with them!)

We currently have 3 birth kids, ages: 9, 6, 3.

So, hello and I'm looking forward to learning so much here!

December 31, 2002 Prince Luke was born.

February 5, 2005 Princess Anna home from Guatemala

November 20, 2008 started the process to adopt from Ethiopia
February 20, 2009 Sent dossier paperwork to Building Arizona Families for proofing
March 6, 2009 fingerprinted by USCIS.
March 10, 2009 APPROVAL by USCIS.
March 13, 2009 Received I171H form.
March 18, 2009 Final state authentications received and sent to agency. YEAH!! Bye bye dossier. Have fun at the Washington, DC Consulate.
April 8, 2009 Dossier is on its way to Ethiopia
April 13, 2009 Dossier arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

April 30th Second and final home study visit done
July 16,2008 Officially on the waitlist for a baby boy at #21
August 28,2008 Received FDL officially able to accept a referral.
Oct 7,2008 Officially #13 on the list
Nov 7,2008 Officially #8 on the list
Jan 6, 2009 Referral of a beautiful 6month old baby boy
Court date March 31st.
April 18,2009 Leaving for Ethiopia to bring Home Noah T.
April 20,2009 Noah Tamirat in our arms forever.

I used Dove in 2006 for my adoption. Just PM your questions to me and I will try to get back to you in a timely manner.

Thank you everyone. We are still researching agencies. Not sure what we are doing yet, but dang, I am ready to get this ball rolling!
