Increasing Wait Times for Court Date?
Hey everybody. When I first started this process in Jan, wait time from acceptance of referral to court date was about 8 weeks.
My agency recently informed us that they are now getting court dates 13 weeks out, due to the increasing volume of Ethiopian adoptions. I'm wondering if it's just time of year, or if this will be a continuing trend. Any thoughts or experiences out there?

I think one factor recently was one of the judges out on maternity leave. She's back from what I've heard and things have speeded up some but I don't think they'll ever get back to what they were because the program is growing so fast.
