I'm so excited to say that our Ethiopia dossier is done and that we sent it off to our agency Friday!

Ironically, we received our authenticated documents for our China adoption today, too, so that dossier will be FedEx'ed Monday.

When it rains, it pours!

I've been filling out forms for so many months now that I'm not sure what I'll do with my free time!

I hear ya! Well, enjoy your free time and best of luck with your dossiers!! Curious how hard it was to get your agency to approve you applying to 2 countries simultaneously? If I had ever thought about it, I think I'd have assumed you can't do that.

Concurrent adoptions are becoming more common for families already in process in China. Chinese adoptions are now taking many years to complete, therefore, families such as ours are looking elsewhere "in the meantime."

Not all countries permit concurrent adoptions, but, fortunately for us, China and Ethiopia do.

We're actually using two different placement agencies, too, so that has made this infinitely more complicated! But, we all do what it takes...!
