Hey Everyone: Is anyone working with an agency that is allowing concurrent adoptions with China and Ethiopia? My wife and are among the thousands waiting in China and would like to begin a concurrent adoption in Ethiopia. Our current agency (for China) will not allow the concurrent adoption because they say the Ethiopian government does not look favorably on that, even though the two adoptions would be at least a year apart. If you are successfully working with an agency that does allow concurrent adoptions with China and Ethiopia, please send me a private message.

I have heard of quite a few people who are doing this. Ethiopia does not have an issue with concurrent adoptions. However, Ethiopia has different requirements for different agencies. I do not know which agencies allow it and which do not. Search the yahoo groups -- there is one specifically for people who are doing concurrent adoptions with China and Ethiopia.
