Gift question
Hey Guys,
I'm jumping over from the domestic and China boards. A friend of mine will be traveling shortly to bring their son home from Ethiopia. I want to get her something special...a gift that would pertain specifically to Ethiopian adoption. Some of the most precious things we've received had to do with the specific country or type of adoption. Her son will be 3 soon. Any ideas? For example: China adoptive parents, love the 'red thread' saying and absolutely love ladybugs. Thank you so much!! ~stacy

Well, since she already has the necklace, how about something from Product (Red)? It's not adoption specific, but a portion of profits go to provide HIV/Malaria medication to Africa.
You could try looking around on Cafepress, there's lots of shirts and things like that there related to Ethiopian adoption. Other than that, I'm kind of stuck for ideas.

i would suggest an Ethopian cross. Decoration, necklace, earrings.

I love the (red) clothes! you can get those at gap.com. Also, maybe a shirt with Amharic (language in Ethiopia) writing on it.
