Roll Call!!

Ok let's find out who's here!!

I'll start!

I'm Valerie from Vermont, mom to 2 bio kids ages 6 and 3 1/2. We are in the process of adopting a child between the ages of 18 months - 3 years. We are using WHFC. We finished our homestudy in December and are currently waiting for Vermont Clearances to come in.

A piece of my heart is in Ethiopia

I hope 2008 is an amazing year for all of us!!!

I'm still here too. My daughter just turned 3 last month and has been home 16 months tomorrow. I dream of another one but I am not ready yet. I currently live in North Carolina but I am hoping to move to New York in 2009.

Hi

I'm Kerri. I have a 15 month old daughter named Ruby, who came home from Guatemala in May. I'm hoping to start an Ethiopian adoption this spring for a older toddler girl. Still looking at agencies so if you have ones that you absolutely love or hate, let me know.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone here.

I still poke my head around here a few times a week. We have a nearly 10 month old boy from Dire Dawa. I'm plotting for #2, but not for a few years yet.

We have 5 birthchildren and adopted a little girl from Guatemala - she came home in May of 2006. I am hoping to adopt a child from Ethiopia, but my dh isn't on board yet. It took a few months longer for him to be ready last time as well, so I am hopeful.

Ethiopia adoption

Which agency did you use for Ethiopia? (This is my first time ever writing on a blog, by the way!)

I'm Megan, also in NC, and I have only one little kiddo, Paxton, age 25m (officially, dr thinks he's more like 20m). We adopted him using WHFC, and like most of their kids he's from the Sidama zone. Everything has gone so incredibly smoothly and we're raring to go for a second one, even though he hasn't even been home 2 months! We're thinking we'll wait until he's been home 6 months to make the call on starting for a second child.
