Just wanted to let everyone know I made it home with Medina on Friday. We are now working on settling in to being a family of 3. Medina's doing great considering all of the changes she's been experiencing. I've posted some pictures on my blog.

Hello,
I have an awesome daughter from Guatemala who will be 3 in August. I fostered her in Guatemala for 3 months and have been home since November 2006. I am in the process of adopting a little girl from Ethiopia, hopefully between the ages of 9-15 months old.

We are officially a # on the wait list for a referrel..#21 for a boy hoping for as young as possible.

We are beginning our home study in September to adopt an infant girl from Ethiopia. DH says that will complete our family
 Then again, DH didn't think he'd be starting all over when he reached his mid 40's.

Count me in as well! We have just decided that we want to pursue this, so here we go! I have requested info packs from some of the agencies, so we will wait on that.
I would hope that as we work our way towards a decision, I can get the good, bad, and the ugly info about your experiences.  We adopted DD domestically last year, and I am sure this will be a rollercoaster of emotions too. -Heather

I have 1 adopted through US foster care and 3 who came home from Ethiopia in January 2007 through CWA - biological siblings who are now 12, 10 and 7.

DH made it home on Friday with our two beautiful little ones. We have been busy chasing 3 under 5 around the city.. lol!

Dh and I adopted an AA baby boy in January, Tyler is 7 months old. I'm researching to begin our Ethiopian adoption next year. DH doesn't want to specify anything except younger than Tyler, I would like to say younger than Tyler, and female (maybe, I'm on the fence) I'd also like to talk him into a sibling group, but we'll see

It's not. ~Dr. Seuss 10-11/07 - We complete home study visits, requirements, and paperwork! 12/17/07 - Our home study is approved by the agency director. 01/27/08 - We get a  for a baby boy who is less than 24 hours old! We submit and get the call 1 hour later that we should get on a  !01/28/08 - Tyler is in our arms! He is less that 48 hours old 01/31/08 - We go to Court, consents are signed and he's OURS! 02/07/08 - Back home in MA with Ty! 04/03/08 - 1st post placement visit. 05/25/08 - 2nd post placement visit. 07/08 - Final Visit and submit paperwork for finalization! Can't wait! 08/08 - I might be researching our next adoption already Will it be  or ...stay tuned...
