I leave in a week!!
Next Friday I am starting my journey over to Ethiopia to bring home my 11 month old son Nathaniel Misganaw!! After 2 years...I can't believe that it is finally time to bring my son home!!!!

Have a wonderful trip!!! It is an experience like no other. Where are you staying? I did not get a chance to get out of Addis when I went but I am told that if you can you see a completely different side of Ethiopia. Please post all about it when you get back. Hope you have a good flight home -- 17+ hours on a plane with a child I barely knew was rough on me -- but I hear of many people who have really easy trips home.

I am staying at the Weygoss Guesthouse, its on the Bole Road apparently.
Yes the plane ride home should certainly be interesting! I am very much looking forward to the experiences there. Louise

I'm sure you are now on your way? (I didn't check the date closely) Congratulations! You will love it in Ethiopia!! We had a good trip home with our 4 year old. She did great! When we hit DC we had a 9 hour layover. She feel asleep at 5pm and never woke from DC to Detroit until we were home and then she still didn't wake until 2am!! It took less than a week to re-adjust her sleep patterns!

Have a safe trip and congrats on your son. We are just completing our agency application and will be emailing it this weekend. Still a long way from that plane ride to ethiopia but can't wait until we are bringing home a son.
