I am stealing an idea from the Guatemala forum. They have many spreadsheets that keep track of the different stages of the adoption process. I propose that we have one for the Ethiopia site as well. I am always curious as to others timelines and thought we could post a spreadsheet here.

If anyone would like to participate, please email me or post your screen name, date your documents arrived in Ethiopia, your court date and travel date. I will update the sheet as information comes in. Also, if people would like to add any columns, let me know.

10/14/04: Homestudy completed
10/18/04: Dossier sent to Ethiopia
10/27/04: Received I-171H
11/23/04: Received Referral
11/29/04: Accepted Referral
12/21/04: Goes to Ethiopian Court
1/25/05: Adoption Final in Ethiopia
2/22/05: Met our son in Addis!
7/25/05: Readoption (in AZ) Finalized!


To anyone interested, I have an Excel spreadsheet which shows exactly when everything happened, and exactly when (and what) fees were paid along the way. Happy to email it to anyone!
