Agency costs?
Ok I have received the information from all 6 agencies and lots of them talk about added costs. Well I need to know how much we need to save and really don't want too many surprises money wise though I will make allowances for a few. So whi is your agency and how much did you pay minus travel costs.

Lanora, we haven't finished yet so I don't have a total number, but the truth is that most folks end up paying about the same, aside from various additional expenses accrued during travel (some folks fly first class, for example). I think some agencies are just a bit more straightforward with cost estimates. For example, some agencies tell you about fees you don't pay to the agency itself; others don't.
There isn't a huge difference in cost from what I've heard. Choose the agency you are most comfortable with. I've heard some discomfort later on from folks who made a decision based on cost.

No way would I make a decision based on just cost but I am overviewing everything but actually the yahoo group had a spreadsheet that was helpful. I am just really excited.

Our total cost was just over $18,000 for everything including travel. If you don't know which agency we used check our website.

We adopted a sibling group of two, and our total cost was about $22,000, which included our travel (coach).

I'm assuming those funds are US dollars?
Danielle: I love checking out your site. We do so at least once a week to see if there's new pictures or info. Thank you for being so open with your adoption. It's very encouraging. What a beautiful little girl your daughter is!

Our adoption totaled $13,000, and that included all homestudy fees, all agency fees, and all travel fees.
