Well, yesterday we got news that we are in a group. This means that we will have a court date in Ethiopia within the next week to ten days and we can start making travel plans. YIPEEEE!!! We are so excited. We will have our kids by the end of the summer like we hoped.

We are so excited, I can't even tell you. We are amazed with the timeframe too. Even though it has seemed extremely long and frustrating, it is nothing compared to other adoptions. We put in our application Feb.1, 2005 and will probably get our children between July and the middle of August. So total it will be about six months beginning to end! Amazing isn't it?

Which agency are you with? Is your time frame so fast because you asked for older children and/or siblings? Just curious as in Canada we are being told that sib groups are taking longer? Seems like the opposite to the States.
