Anyone adopting from Ethiopia (or already adopted from Ethiopia) who lives in the Southeastern U.S.? My husband and I live in South Carolina and would love to hear from people who are further along in the process than we are. We're just submiting our initial application now. Have no idea what we're in for regarding a time frame! I hope this family won't mind sharing this, but I've loved viewing this website: www.rainbow-family.com. They recently adopted three kids from Ethiopia in addition to others from Vietnam and the U.S. THey've got GREAT photos from the orphanages in Ethiopia. I can't wait to get there! Rachel

Hi Rachel. I am in North Carolina. I very much want to adopt from Ethiopia, but DH is not so sure. He says he has just always pictured an Asian child. He is praying about it, and we should decide soon. If we do proced with Ethiopia, I would love to be in touch with you through the process. Which agency are you using?
