I'm Home!

We just got home yesterday with our baby girl Kayle! She is perfect! 12lbs and will be four months old on Saturday the 19th. She is so easy going loves to watch everything and so far great at sleeping. A big eater too.... 6oz almost every 2-3hours.

It seems like a dream. I keep asking myself did I really just go to Africa for two weeks and come home with baby? I praise the Lord for the gift/blessing he has given me and my husband. God is truley and Awesome God!

Ditto me too! My husband and I are also looking to adopt from Ethiopia and are considering going through AFAA. Who'd you go through and what was your experience like? Timeline, etc. You can just copy me on whatever you're sending out to the others. Congrats on bringing home a baby girl! Wishing you all the best! Rachel

Hi,
Can you tell me where you stayed in Addis? We will travelling to pick up our little one (not for a few months still...). We were thinking of the Ghion, but I'm also wondering about the Yilma. Did you stay at either of these or another place you'd recommend? The only places I'm not interested in are the Hilton and Sheraton--we'd like to stay somewhere which is Ethiopian-owned.
