TODAY I got the information on one of my girls that I am adopting from Belarus! (at least SOME information), and am just beside myself with excitement, but I need some help. How do I find out the equivelant American shoe and clothing sizes? I was told Russian sizes of 13-14 for shoes, and 28-30 for clothes. Can anyone help me? I converted the weight to 37 lbs., and her height to 39 inches.

Where is your daughter from? Our youngest daughter was in the Mozyr preschool orhanage. While our oldest daughter had been at Mosyr, she had been transferred to the Reichesta older child orphanage just before we adopted them in Nov. 2002.

Our daughters are coming from Orsha, near Vitebsk, and Rechitsa special bording school (for handicapped children). We are hoping to get word this week as to when our court dates will be, hopefully the week after! How are your girls settling in? How do we get in contact so we can chat? Do you have an AOL IM identity? If so, I am paws2ink ... IM me!

Hi! Congratulations on your new daughter. My nephew weighs 37 lbs and he wears a size 4. I'm not sure how tall he is. Good luck on your trip!
