Swine flu delays??????
With the EU stating that Europeans should not travel to the US unless they had essential travel - will the adoption travel be slowed down - to nothing while we wait to see if this is going to be a big deal? I'm from a non-affected state waiting for my second trip and this seems like a good excuse to postpone setting court dates.

I don't see why travel would be delayed. Passengers travelling from the U.S. to Europe may find additional screening (like we see with people flying to the U.S. from Mexico see now at many airports), but I don't know why there would be any disruption to travel. I don't think anyone wants to discourage Americans from travelling to Europe, particularly in this rough economy.
Now, if things escalate and this becomes a pandemic (which the CDC is saying is a possibility) things could certainly be affected. |
