Hiya guys,

I might have asked this before, but it was a long time ago if I did. (possiblity the answer has changed)..are there any Eastern European nations that accept single men?

I've been told that Russia doesn't because of the idiot who abused (and maybe killed? I don't remember) his daughter.

PS. I'm wondering for curiosity's sake, as I'll probably go for a domestic adoption next year. But I might go international before the decade's out. Vague possiblity there.

You may want to recheck Russia. I do know that a single Dad recently completed the adoption of his sons from Russia. I would suggest looking at the Russia specific board and other groups/forums on Russian adoption like FRUA & Yahoo groups as well to get a broader response.

I also know that Lithuania does NOT allow single men to adopt.

I think Estonia allows single men to adopt too.
