Unhappy What happened to the Lithuania Thread?

I signed on today and couldn't find Lithuania in the list of countries under "Adopting from Eastern Europe". What happened to it? ~ Gina

All inactive forums were merged into this one - so if it was on that forum, its here now.

Brandy,

I'm not sure I understand why was Lithuania moved to this forum as inactive, when it had more recent posts than both Romania (last was September 24, 2005) and Latvia (Last post was January 17, 2005) and both of those countries still have their own threads.

I just find it a bit confusing to have a bunch of country threads clumped in here under "Eastern Europe General Support" when their titles no longer make sense and you can't tell which country they pertain to. It's much more helpful to have country specific information sepreated out by country as it used to be.

It has nothing to do with when the last post was made and everything to do with the number of threads that were on the forum.

Sadly, the number of forums were getting out of hand (over 800) and many of them were not being used or rarely being used...we thought it better to focus on making fewer forums better than allowing a lot of forums to suffer, functionality wise.
