Hello! My husband & I (who have 2 bio daughters) have always wanted to adopt, and are starting to investigate a possibly eastern-european afoption. I just want to ask about everyone's gen experiences, how they financed (my hubby is a CA state employee, if that matters) and any hints, tips, expert advice for those of us who are just starting to think about this. I've been snooping around on this board for a while, and have already gleaned a good bit of info. Nice meeting you all!

Hi, I don't have any real advice for your but I just wanted to say "hello" because I'm in exactly the same spot you are!

I've also noticed that on this forum, you are more likely to get a response if you ask specific questions.

Regarding financing, we live in Canada and the National Bank of Canada actually has a low-interest adoption loan program for families adopting abroad. Perhaps there is something like that out there for you, too. Try searching for "adoption loans."
