Children's books about adopted children?

What are your favorite kids books/picture books about or starring adopted children? We're looking to pick some up that introduce the concept to our bio daughter (now a toddler), and also feature a character that our adopted child might be able to relate to.

Thanks ahead of time for your suggestions!

The two that would probably work best in your situation are:
Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born, Jamie Lee Curtis
How I Was Adopted, Joanna Cole

If you check out Tapestry Books, they have a lot of adoption-related titles.

Hope this helps!

Child #1: Is that your mother?
Child #2: Yes.
Child #1: Why is she white and you are black?
Child #2: Because I am adopted, and black people have more melanin than white people do.
Child #1: Oh, let's go on the high bars.
