Its official
My homestudy, profile books and all documents have been approved . So according to the agency "my adoption process has officially began" wow, wow!!! Its kinda like getting a postive on a pregnancy test... now all I have to do is wait
 I am excited Sugar

Congratulations!
 Getting all that "stuff" out of the way was a huge relief for me. The waiting can be a challenge so keep up the positive spirit! Best of luck to you and here's hoping for a short wait!

Congratulations and welcome to the wait! Be sure to have lots of supports around you during this time and be prepared for the incessant questions of "Do you have a match/child yet? How about now? Did you hear anything yet?"

2/07 - Started researching agencies 7/13/07 - Signed with agency 8/07 - 10/07 - Adoption put on hold 12/19/07 - Homestudy complete 2/25/08 - Officially waiting 5/29/08 - Matched!! Due 7/08 6/3/08 - Baby F born. Surprise! 6/7/08 - Adoption plan fell through  7/11/08 - Matched! 20 month old girl and 3 month old boy 7/12/08 - The kids are in our care! Instant Family (just add water)! 3/20/09 - Finalized! We are legally, and in all other ways, a family.

Thanks...it looks like you didn't have long to wait huh? And your right not having to chase anymore documents is a huge relief. I am sure the ladies at the homestudy agency were ready for me to move on to the next step.
