Are placement numbers way down where you are?
Our adoption agency, established and highly reputable, has only had a few domestic placements in the past six months. They are seeing a normal number of expecting parents, but very few of the parents are making adoption plans. Their placements were down last year, too, but not like this.
Is everyone seeing this or is this a regional phenomenon (we are in the midwest)? I would love to hear how things are going in all parts of the US, and hope that others will find it helpful also. MNhopemom |

I live in Indiana. Our agency has been around 20 yrs and is very reputable. They have 16 waiting families right now and 0 birthmoms. They normaly do about 20 adoptions a year. We've been waiting 3 months and they have not had anybody to show us to despite outreach and marketing. Good Luck with your wait. I hope it's short.

We are also in the midwest. Our agency has had a record number of PBM from last july-until this month. It must just be luck!
Good luck to all of you who are still waiting.
