I was in the delivery room for S's labor. (The labor was badly managed and she was treated terribly, so ended up with an emergency C-section, after begging for a C-section for an hour of non-productive pushing. But I'm not still angry at the hospital or anything.)
There's not an awful lot of blood until the end. For me, it wasn't the blood as much as the raw emotion. I'm not sure that I could do that again. Just a different pov. ![]()

I wouldn't pass this moment up for anything! Worst case scenario, you pass out (so what...lol). I would definately discuss with your bmom about what she would like your role to be (maybe she needs you more than you think....). What an awesome way to meet your baby!
