Help with domestic adoption

My DH and I adopted a beautiful Guatemalan girl who is now 2 and now would like her to have a sibling but due to circumstances in Guatemala cannot adopt there again. We reside in Florida and would like to adopt a hispanic infant domestically. Can anyone give any advice on agencies, time frames, how long the birthparents have to change their mind and any other expert advice you might have. We have very little info on domestic adoption and would love any advice. Thank you.

Are you wanting to only adopt in Florida? Revocation (and signing TPR) varies by state.

any state

It does not matter to us what state we adopt from, it doesn't have to be Florida.

I highly recommend the book Adopting in America, by Randall B. Hicks. I found it to be the best, most informative book about domestic adoption. Other good authors are Lois Melina, Christine Adamec, and Colleen Alexander Roberts.
I hope this helps!

Child #2: Yes.
Child #1: Why is she white and you are black?
Child #2: Because I am adopted, and black people have more melanin than white people do.
Child #1: Oh, let's go on the high bars.
