Experience with DC adoption search?
Hi everyone - I was wondering if anyone else has done a search for birthfamily through the DC process. If so, what was your experience? Did you find the process to be efficient and the people involved helpful? Or not? Are there ways you think the process should be changed?

Hi:
I did petition the Court to unseal my adoption records with the private agency that handled my adoption. This seem to be a smooth process and went well and was granted. However, I did not request orginal birth certificate and now am finding that I am getting the run around and no return calls. I now wondering if it is even possible. Any ideas? Thanks.
