I am in search of birthparents and/or siblings. I was born 12/12/68. The adoption was handled throgh Peirce-Warwick. I think I have two older brokers(10 & 12 at the time)that saw me before I was adopted. I have a last name of "Lorimer"??(not sure of the spelling. But not sure if that was birthparents last name, birthmothers maiden name. For medical reasons, if anyone could help that would be great!!!

Have you contacted the agency for your info yet?
If the adoption was finalized in D.C. have you filed with the Superior Court there to get your files open??

This seems to be an old post however The Adoption Agency I was adopted from in Washington D.C. is now also handling Pierce Warwick and have alot of their records since they closed. I have been through the process of petitioning the court and have unsealed my records, my contact however is not what I expected, but each situation is different. If you need help with whom to contact please let me know I have the directors name and phone that will help you.
