1. cooler weather 2. a bunch of baby stuff sent by my sister in law 3. a nap before work 4. my mom helping me finish a knitting project 5. a full belly - lol from lunch and from a baby

Thank you tara...I need this...and I have a lot to put!!
1. a conference tomorrow which means not really working  2. College football starts in ten days!!! 3. I'm meeting Brown in twenty days!!! 4. I'm going on vacation in twenty-three days!!!! 5. I'm visiting Leigh in twenty-seven days!!!!! hm...I think there's something else....what is it.... oh yeah, A VISIT WITH CUPCAKE IN THRITY EIGHT DAYS!!!! Not that I'm counting days or anything...

Thanks, Tara, I needed this too!
My five things I'm grateful for today: 1) I talked with my son on Sunday. Have I told you all lately how much I love this kid??! (ok, ok, I know a 36-year-old isn't a "kid" anymore...but he'll always be my "little guy".) Before we hung up, he told me he loved me...  2) My mom is cooperating with the nurses and doctors at the skilled-nursing facility and taking her medications. 3) My wonderful forum friends here who are getting me thru this stressful experience in dealing with my mom's stroke, one day at a time. 4) Cooler weather here in the Sierra foothills ~ the heat was horrid a few days ago! 5) Gentle guidance and loving kindness from above.

1. Yes. Cooler weather. Amen. 2. I had to buy new gym clothes because my others were too big. 3. My Husband is home today after working 48 hours. 4. My Dad is kidnapping Nick tomorrow to take him to the fair out there. 5. Brandy is a dork. No, I'm thankful for that.

Okay trying really really hard to post this today but it's a difficult one for me.
1. a great bunch of coworkers, we can laugh even though we just experienced something traumatic 2. my husband coming home for lunch 3. rain 4. only one more shift at work before three days off 5. my dog snuggling on the couch with me this morning

Sorry you had a hard day to post for Tara, I hope today is better
 This is only hard because I used all my good ones the other day!! 1. A friend is coming down for a wedding in a couple weeks and I'll get to see him 2. I won a yoga basket at my stupid conference yesterday (yay for a new yoga mat and weights!) 3. My boss isn't coming in today. 4. IT'S PAY DAY!!! 5. IT'S FRIDAY!!!

1. Left work early today due to unexpected early office closure
 2. I did some budget balancing and I'm *slightly* better off than I thought for my trip - really gotta pinch those pennies! 3. I found a new roommate who seems normal, thank God! (Although I'm TERRIBLY sad to lose my last roomie! She's awesome and I'll miss living with her very very much  4. Just got four new books to read from my Dad to keep me busy  5. Plans for tonight that should be good times.
