Domestic USA Adoption Lifebook- Folk-Art Edition - Adoption Lifebooks and Adoption Memory Books - LIFEBOOKS - Dream Kidz Adoption Shop
It *looks* cute, but it's also very pricey, and I'm not about to buy it off a sloppily put-together website without knowing anything about it! I'm looking for something that will serve as both a baby book AND tell the adoption story. I had grand ideas at first of scrapbooking, but I know I'll never get around to it, so I want to make sure that I have a baby book in hand by the time we bring a baby home.

Life books, Adoption Portfolios - I love Shutterfly!
Hi!
If you're looking for an affordable option, I love shutterfly. Shutterfly | Develop, Print & Share Digital Photos: Create Photo Gifts Online I'm not paid by them or anything, I just found it through a friend a little over a year ago and I really like it! It's user friendly, it's affordable (1 leather bound book is only $30!) and I'm now doing it for all vacations, holidays and our adoption portfolio. I even started a baby life book when I was in the mood one day, now all we need is the baby! Best wishes, Tiffany James and Tiffany's Adoption Website |

I wouldn't pay that much for a canned book. I'm a scrapbooker, so I created my own books for my son. There are a number of people who "scrap for hire" and they can help you.
The major photo web sites have templates that you can use, cheaply, to create a book. Also, I do recommend "My Chosen Child" which is an adoption book, much like the "canned" baby books. I think it's sweeter, though. ![]()

I love this "Hold on Tight to your Dream" adopted baby book from the Dream Kidz! I bought the domestic adoption lifebook for myself and the international one for a friend and they are both beautiful. The domestic is is just beautiful and is a combination of an adoption journal and baby book. It takes you throught the years- school, vactions, list of firsts etc. The actual book is better than the website shows and by the way, I think the website is very cute! The lifebooks are higher priced but the quality is amazing. The paper is unique, gorgeous and archival quality and all of the supplements are high quality like the sheet protectors, the photo sheets and the artwork is truly wonderful. It was worth it for me to buy it and saved me a lot of time and I have a beautiful adoption-baby book now. (my friend loves her international one...she adopted from guatamala)
