Question Scrapbooking Software

Hi!
I'm looking into starting a home-based scrapbooking business. I think it's about time I got on board with digital scrapbooking. What is your favorite software program? Why?
Broad questions, I know, but I'd rather have recommendations from people I "know" than read 100 web site reviews.
Thanks for your help!

Child #1: Is that your mother?
Child #2: Yes.
Child #1: Why is she white and you are black?
Child #2: Because I am adopted, and black people have more melanin than white people do.
Child #1: Oh, let's go on the high bars.

You can download free software off their site and it is pretty good. The only thing I don't like (since I used to desktop publishing) is that you don't have 100% control over the text placement. However for most scrapbooks the text boxes should be sufficient.

Thanks! I ultimately went with LifeTimez, sold via TLC. Until TLC decided that they weren't going to sell it anymore, so now I'll eventually upgrade to Memory Mixer, which is LifeTimez without the TLC content. I found that most free software simply didn't allow enough control.
