I just wanted to pass along this idea my friend just told me today. I am excited to start it.

Buy an album that has a photo slot per page with some journaling lines to the side or bottom. My friend entitled her album with "Mondays with (baby's name)". Her daughter was born on a Monday. Each week on Monday she takes a picture and puts it in, then journals just a bit about highlights from that week. At the end of the year there are 52 entries, with just a snapshot each week. I thought it was such a fun idea! She also keeps a notebook handy by the baby's bed to jot down anything she will want to include (she's very organized--don't know if that would work for me).

Sounds like an easy way to keep up just a bit with the little things...
