Question QOTD - Worst Scrapbooking Purchase

Ok - if you have been scrapbooking more then a few months you can probably join in this (and others can hopefully learn from it)

What was your worst scrapbooking purchase?

Ha! Good thread. Can't wait to see the responses.

My sister bought most that we share, but I always was getting magazines/books that have layout ideas and How Tos and never use them....... BUt I know several people that use them all the time...

shape punches - I guess I just can't find a way to use them that I like

Have you ever done a thread of the BEST purchase or favorite or can't-live-without tools? If so, I"ll want to read those posts.

Nope, I haven't done a 'best of' that sounds like a good one for tomorrow

For the shape punches try thinking of them in different ways - like a border of teeth but you don't use the 'teeth' that you punched, use the negative.

Or as an accent on a tag

I have several worst purchases like:
---- decorative scissors I own the set - 1 or 2 pairs would have been plenty
---- paper with a border design - just doesn't work for me
---- tooo many stickers

A horribly awful, tacky "kit" to make a baby scrapbook. I barely used anything other than the book itself which I covered with fabric. BLAH.

Oh many many have fallen victum to the evil kits! My question is how do they make the box look so great?
