can't find a catholic family

They assure me we can start to work with there sister agencies in other states, but I want my child to grow up in oregon, it's great here. Can any birthmom tell me how you go about finding a good adtoption attorney who can advertise for me a catholic couple? Thanks.

I understand where you are coming from- Oregon is beautiful - I grew up in Alaska (and my children will either grow up there or visit often) and went to college (for a year) in Oregon - my hubby & plan on moving back (someday) to the N.CAL./Or/Wa/Ak area...

Good luck with your adoption plan! We are a hopeful adoptive family living nowhere near Oregon - but KNOW you will find the right family for you!

I know they are out there. Have you talked to your parish priest/pastor? They might be able to help with a family in your or a neighboring parish. Our pastor knows about our desire to adopt and says that he is keeping an ear out for a birthmom looking for a Catholic family. You are truly a special person for choosing life for your child and considering adoption. May God bless you and give you peace.
