I've been following your story and wanted to say CONGRATS on bringing your daughter home. I am so proud of you for standing up and following your heart, you are going to be a great mom and Emma is so lucky to have you. When you get settled in post pictures of your little angel, we'd love to see her!

famous gloria,
I have been reading this post and want to let you know how happy I am for what you have done to get your daughter home. This is something my bmom tried to do to no avail because too much time had gone by... 6 years... and she hadn't been told at my relinquishment that she could change her mind. In fact she was told she would not ever see me again and over time would forget about me and that this ever happened. But that was the 1960s and thank goodness times have changed at least some. Enjoy every minute you have with your daughter and know you have support here anytime you need it.

UPDATE!
Emma has been home for a few days now, and she is such a delight! Everyone has taken turns of holding and feeding her. I have yet to tell the rest of my family.. only because I felt that my parents and sister deserved to have a few 'alone' days with her. They needed to be with her before everyone else had the chance. The dogs enjoy her, although I think they are afraid of her cry (haha). I just wanted to let you all know how she and I were!!

Just another update!
Sorry I havent updated sooner, as you can imagine, I have been super busy with Emma! We took her to the doctors yesterday for a check-up, and she is doing really well! I am soo happy with my decision to parent, I couldnt be happier! I finally told the rest of my family about her, and surprisingly, they all took it really well! Emma is doing well with holding her head up and she laughs all the time and is so aware of her surroundings. She is learning how to pull things to her mouth, everytime she grabs ahold of my finger, next thing I know she has it in her mouth! I will post some pictures of her soon, so you can see her! I feel like you all have helped so much..and that alot of the reason that she is with me now is because of your kind words and support. So again, as always, thank you all for what you have done for me and my daughter!
