Michelle,
Good luck finding an agency that will meet your needs! I wanted to post as a reminder for the members here, but also so you are aware - it is a violation of our Terms of Service for someone to contact you and tell you about their family in hopes of matching with you and adopting your unborn child. This site is meant to be a safe haven, where adopting parents and placing parents can come without the feeling o being pounced on and cornered from all sides - this is a site for support! If you get a message like I have talked about above, please let me know - we take 'solicitation' very seriously here and the user will be banned from further participation. For your safety and the safety of your unborn child - please do not match with anyone who contacts you via this site. There are many resources out there for mothers considering adoption for their child. Good luck!

Michelle,
Maybe you could share a little more of what you are looking for and we could help. What state are you in? Would you like a local agency? Do you want an agency that specializes in open adoptions? You also might post on the Birthparents board. Those ladies would be able to tell you more about how birthmoms and potential birth moms were treated at whatever agencies they worked with. I think agencies often treat adoptive parents differently, so it is hard for us (adoptive parents) to know if expectant mothers are being treated well. Good luck and I wish you the best!
