Problems - please say a prayer!
Hello everyone,
I wound up having to go to the doctor yesterday afternoon with high blood pressure and spotting. I'd also been having what i thought were stomach cramps on and off since the day before yesterday, but the OBGYN thinks were contractions!! They have stopped but I am now home on bedrest for the forseeable future, at least until the spotting stops and my blood pressure comes down. I am very worried about the baby because this is way too early for the baby to be born. The look on the doctor's face yesterday scared me more than anything else, he looked so unhappy. I'm supposed to stay off my feet as much as possible, I just got up to use the bathroom and want to make a request for prayers for me and the baby please. I'm going to go back to bed now. Please, if you believe in God or any higher power, please say a prayer for me and the baby. Thank you, Maralee

Thank you so very much for the prayers!! Please keep them coming, as I am still spotting and had a few more of the "stomach cramps" earlier today that the doctor thought might be contractions. If I have them again I have to go immediately to the OBGYN and have a monitor put on. The OBGYN is talking about using drugs to stop the contractions if this is in fact early labor.
This is very scary. I never thought that anything would be wrong since I have always been so healthy!! The only time I was "laid up" on bedrest before was when I messed up my knee playing soccer my sophomore year of high school. This is so much worse. Please, please keep us in your prayers. I need them so much!! Maralee
