What I was looking for

I want my child to know Jesus so I went to a christian agency.I was looking for real smiles,people that could be on a childs level & enjoy their world.I like animals ,so the family mut was a clincher.Big brothers smile was another for me .I seen the happiness on his face.I knew that this little boy was loving life & having so much fun with his parents.I also seen how much joy that he was bringing to his parents.I noticed the love in their eyes when they would look at him.I kept a close eye on extended family members since they would have allot to do with my bson also.There were a few families that i passed up because there was a strange feeling about the extended family.I wasnt looking for materialistic families .I bypassed all of those.I seen childrens toys allot in their house & I liked that.Really God is the one who picked them.I knew that they were the ones as soon as I looked at the p[ortfolio.They looked like they were loving life.They like to travel & show the kids different things & places.They are busy physicalyto keep the children active.They like to hunt ,swim, fish ,bicycle & play ball.Wich i know that the more activities a child is envolved with ,the less likly it will be that he gets bored & finds drugs.It has been 13 months with semi-open .2 visits & all is well .Everything is possitive.I've edjucated myself by learning my responsibilities & boundries as a birth mother.My bson is loving life with his family .He is giggling in joy & that makes me happy.Big brother loves him so much & he also likes me.It does work.

That sounds like how I found my daughter's family...she's 10 months old...She has an older brother, too..He was definataly a big plus!!! He adores the ground she 'crawls' on....:0) The love and happines in all their pictures always reassures me that I did the right thing...I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
