For those of you who received a Spam message via Private Message from PLANKY, otherwise known as "Miss Prisca Ebahlah", please know that we have taken care of the issue and apologize for the nuisance. Thanks to the member who reported it! (message was the "My father died in some far away African land and left me bazillions of bucks but I can't get to it without you sending me money")

I have deleted all of the private messages that this member sent out. I have no idea who received these PM’s, as I can only view the number of messages sent out from an account. I have an option to delete messages in one swoop sent out by the member, which I have done. Please be assured that while I cannot view any messages, I can at least delete the ones sent out from that account.

Furthermore, please know that this type of message is NOT allowed here on our forums and we do try very hard to ensure it doesn’t happen. However, if you should receive a solicitation of any kind, whether it’s for funds, children, products or your left pinky finger, please contact a moderator ASAP by forwarding them the PM you have received.

It’s important that we are contacted when these things happen so that we can take the steps necessary to remove them from our site.
