Jenna - you can put anyone on an ignore list on Yahoo, right? So if someone contacts you that you don't want, just block them or not accept the convo invite?

Yeah... but it is weird... there is SOME way to get around it.

I spam people who come back. Including the one from here last night... then came into work just to have another invite this morning!!!

I dont know how they get around it..

*nods* Put on ignore with a rather rude message (heh) but they find ways around it. Some people need to find more constructive things to do with their time. I've got an apartment that needs packing if they're in that much need.

I want to add to this: I've also had reports that the same person doing this may also be sending PM's to hopeful adoptive parents claiming A) To have given birth to a Down's baby in the last few days or B) Has a baby that’s a few months old that they'd like to place.

THIS is the reason why we do NOT permit matching on the forums - clearly, there is no way this person could have a 2-3 month old healthy infant and a 2-3 day old Downs baby and want to place both of them.

While many Internet matches go off without a hitch – many more do not! Protect yourself, your family and your heart – and above all else, please report violations of the rules to the moderators (or me) so that this site continues to be a safe place for EVERYONE.
