Well, guess I'm in the minority on this one. My eyes hurt less when the post backgrounds were white.

Updating request

After playing with the site for a while today lol ok a long time

I would like to REITERATE my previous request (so it doesnt get lost in the millions of other ones) that the "New" Page automatically updates.

Also, I think it would be good if that "New Posts" option was more visible rather than hidden in a pop down menu (on old sign in it was right there to see) for newbees who might never figure it out.

The one other comment is that the "Similar Topics" box that comes up is HILARIOUS. Obviously a computer randomly generated thing that picks one word. For example, "We adopted today" comes up with 3 listings of discussion on the "Today Show" VERY FUNNY!

Okay, so I'm catching up from this morning. I'm on page 9 and I STILL have to scroll to the right to read everyone's posts. I changed the default as someone recommended...and I still have the same problem. Can someone please help the computer software illiterate. I rarely rarely post on these boards but have been a serious lurker for a long time. Again, I'm a fan of the new system, just confused... THANKS ANYONE!

I actually prefer the white; the gray is harder on my eyes. Though, that may be because of the lights here at work as opposed to home. I'll let you know there.

*goes back to work* Booorrring!

Reputation Question

Seems my reputation points changed. Can anyone tell me where to look to see if there were any comments? I looked on my Control Panel and couldn't find it. Also, is there a way to find out how many points someone else has?

Thanks

Parent2b-- I played with it and the only way I can get it to make me scroll is when I change the number of pixels used in "properties". (That is the same area that you change your screensaver and wallpaper). Could this be your problem??

I assume your screen IS maxamized...right..??

Parent...all the way to the right!

Cobb go to user cp. The first box in the center should be new posts to subscribed threads. The one under that should show most recent feedback.

parent2b,

I'm sorry I did not respond to your question. Wasn't trying to ignore you... just not computer savvy enough to know how to help. Looks like Christine, aka computer/forum guru, has got you covered!

Another question....

Banned users? They don't show "banned" under their name anymore? Is that going to stay how it is, or will there be a way to show if someone's been banned? (I'd feel pretty silly responding to someone who's not around to respond back.)

Interesting about feedback

Question.

In feedback...if the sqare is green does it mean good feedback and blue mean bad?? (I am talking about in your own personal CP).

Just wondering.

That will be lovely to know that we can see the difference!

Thanks Christine. Right before I got your message I figured out how to sort members by their points. One last question, it showed what thread I recieved a response to, but there was no comment. If a comment is included, does it show the user that put it there?

Yeah.... red seems to mean bad rep, blue seems to be... questionable?.... and green seems to mean good.

No..it just shows the comment-- not who sent it!!

And since there is no 'neutral' vote as said earlier... that must mean blue is bad...right?? (Not on the member sort...on your own list...everyone LOVES you nic...maybe you have no BAD votes!! HAHAHAHA)
