Any bmom who wants to offer me some advise on not to be nervous about her changing her mind would be wonderful. You ladies are wonderful. Our BirthMom is Wonderful and we love her with all our heart. To be honest if she stops calling us as much after the baby comes I'm really going to miss her. My bh and I worry about her all the time...not just because of the baby but because she is a sweet wonderful person who deserves so much in life and we wish we could do more for her. She's such a loving person. I really can't say enough about her and the joy she will bring to my family. Thanks everyone for the support... Hugs, angie

How exciting for you. Birth Mother's Day is...

About your ques. regarding when is birth mother's day I have always heard it is the day BEFORE the Mother's Day that is celebrated nationally here in the United States. This year Mother's Day falls on Sunday, May 13. So Birth Mother's day would be Sat., May 12! It is celebrated the day before so it is first for the first mother. Neat huh! It is perfect timing for you!! I would celebrate with her a bit even if your precious angel has not arrived yet. Since our first daughter was born so very close to Mother's Day some very throughtful relatives celebrated Mother's Day with me even prior to her birth. It really made me feel special because I did not have to wait an entire year to be recognized as a Mom when our baby was just hours away. Hope this helps. Best to you and keep asking those excellent questions. Love and hugs, Sabra

Birth Mother's Day...

I know it is hard not to get excited, but please remember that all birthmoms remake the decision after the baby is born. Not matter how positive she is she will place nothing is for sure until she sees the baby as a seperate person and holds the child in her arms.
